My wife and I recently took a quick trip to Tucson, Arizona to attend a friend’s wedding. That’s right…a couples weekend! You parents with a team of kids like ours understand the rare gift this type of travel offers. Even though we enjoy this precious time together, it isn’t long before we start thinking about how much the kids would love the experience too. So I’m going to spend the next 3 articles putting our couples weekend through the large family lens. We’ll cover the following topics:
- Frontier Airlines Review – Will share some thoughts on our first ever flight on Frontier Airlines. See the Discount Airlines: Watch the Fine Print Closely post for my thoughts on low budget airfares.
- Lodging – Where to stay in order to maximize your rental cost and see the most sites possible. Visit our Traveling Large Means Lodging Large post for planning ideas.
- Attractions – Tucson (and all throughout Arizona) is full of wonderful nature trails and entertainment to explore. Will offer some cost effective activities to fill your day with the family.
Although it was a quick 3 days, we had the opportunity to see all sorts of sites from hikes up on Finger Rock and Sabino Canyon to visiting the Pima Air & Space Museum. Putting your couples weekend through a large family lens can be a great way to spark new ideas for your next vacation.
